Les claviers de Someone Must Get Hurt rappellent beaucoup ceux de The Same Deep Water As You des Cure, mais l'influence Cure est très nette à d'autres moments aussi.

Celle de DM aussi : l'intro de These Things et surtout de Monologue notamment.

Une voix à la Ian Curtis/ Paul Banks (Interpol), et qui se fait "bowienne" sur Broken Promises for Broken Hearts.
